The eye diameter of a cyclone can range from 10 to 30 km (Figure 8.11).
This area is cloudless and has light wind speed. An area of up to 150 km around this quiet and clear eye (Figure 8.12) is surrounded by clouds. In this area, wind speeds are very high (about 150 to 250 km / h) and dense clouds with heavy rainfall.
The wind speed gradually decreases away from this area. The origin of a cyclone is a very complex process. A model of this is shown in Figure 8.11.
